Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need any experience?

No. Tandem skydives are designed for beginners and full instruction will be provided on the day.

Is there an age limit?

Participants must be at least 16 years old. Anyone under 18 will require parental or guardian consent.

Are there weight or medical restrictions?

Yes. The maximum weight limit for participants is 15 stone and all participants will be weighed on arrival at the skydiving centre.

All participants must also complete a medical declaration form on arrival at the centre. For any queries around medical restrictions please visit Skydive Hinton.

How much do I need to raise?

The total cost of a tandem skydive is £250 per person.

When you sign up for Jump for Esther, you'll pay a £70 deposit to secure your place. The remaining £180 balance is due to the skydiving centre on the day of the jump. The Esther Project will pay this balance on your behalf, which is why we ask every participant to raise a minimum of £500 in sponsorship.

This ensures that the cost of your skydive is covered while also raising vital funds to support women across Warwickshire.

If you have not raised the minimum £500 before your scheduled jump date, your skydive place may be moved to a later date to give you additional time to continue fundraising and reach the required amount.

For full T&C’s please visit Skydive Hinton.
