Every woman who comes to The Esther Project has her own story, her own experiences and her own needs. For some, reaching out to us is the first step towards finding safety. For others, it’s about having somewhere they feel welcome, someone who will listen, or the practical and emotional support they need to begin moving forward.
Your support helps us be there in all of those moments — whether that means professional counselling, a hot meal and a safe place to talk, practical essentials, specialist programmes or simply being part of a community where a woman feels seen and supported.
However you choose to support us — by donating, fundraising, shopping, giving your time or getting your business involved — you’ll be helping women in our community feel less alone and more hopeful about what comes next. Every act of support, big or small, helps us continue to be there when women need us.
What your support could make possible
£20 could provide a hygiene pack filled with everyday essentials.
£30 could provide lunch for five women at our weekly Drop-In.
£50 could support the cost of a professional counselling session.
£80 could provide a bedroom welcome pack with bedding and towels.
£125 could support the training of a volunteer mentor.
£200 could provide household essentials to help a woman move into a home of her own.
£600 could support the cost of 12 professional counselling sessions.

We regularly need everyday essentials for the women we support and our weekly Drop-In, from tea, coffee and toiletries to arts and crafts supplies. We may also have one-off requests for specific items, as well as larger needs to help make Esther House feel safe, comfortable and welcoming.
